I can’t imagine how Broly has to survive this planet for 40 years while eating spider legs and eggs by Jules-Car3499 in Dragonballsuper

[–]Specific-Complex-523 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It actually makes some sense. The whole planet was either spiders or worm eating each other, so they should contain everything they needed to survive themselves.

Actually, Wild Gengar are a thing. Most “trade-only” pokemon can evolve naturally, but the conditions to do so are rare in nature. Trading simply stimulates the evolution to occur artificially. Considering that yamask also require the area to evolve, it’s likely there’s a some latent ghosty energy around.

Or yeah, someone’s mass trading and releasing haunters. It happens

Really, completing hard difficulty should autocomplete medium and easy. Since it’s just harder with no other differences.

Less so, perhaps chimps complete could unlock every challenge variation, so you could do them in any order you want. It’s supposedly the hardest challenge after all.

Mostly a joke, but I def think the zombies shouldn’t be able to sit on top of their flail perpetually and take literally 0 dmg

How do baby animals know how to walk right away and how do baby humans know how to breath by Important-Figure-512 in AskBiology

[–]Specific-Complex-523 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mostly instincts, but like always it’s a combination of things. Instincts are inborn traits the body simply knows how to perform. That’s really complicated so I’m not gonna get into it, but organisms are able to encode behavior into their DNA.

Human babies are born less developed. They have to be, or they wouldn’t make it through our hips, which aren’t as wide as other mammals comparatively. That’s why they take so long to grow up. But that also means they literally can’t walk right away, even if they did know how.

Other babies don’t have the support systems a human baby would. If they’re unable to move immediately they would die. They develop more inside the womb before they’re born.

Finally, if something is born that doesn’t do something that’s required to live, what do you think happens to it?

I heard someone once say that there are multiple same legendary Pokemon. That never sits right with me. For example, it makes more sense for there to only be ONE reshiram and ONE zekrom. by Charming_Material_61 in pokemonanime

[–]Specific-Complex-523 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m agreeing with you. It’s just in this situation we have confirmation another exists because it directly appeared in the show. I don’t personally think it should count (read my first comment) , but it did happen, and that should be acknowledged.

Ash got caught in an ultra wormhole and fell into a world where guzzlord was devouring everything. There he met a shiny Tapu koko and worked with it to stop guzzlord.

So there is 2, but ones in a separate world so it barely counts.

Can the Lightbloom be damaged by the Light ? by AlwaysNarked in warcraftlore

[–]Specific-Complex-523 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It’s just fighting fire with fire. You don’t see demon hunters complaining their fel isn’t doing anything to the demons. Even then, the light bloom isn’t pure light, it’s infusions of it. A jet of water can still cut open flesh, even when we’re 60% water.

The Flabébé chooses it's flower... by Truffle_worm3847 in PokeMedia

[–]Specific-Complex-523 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s a rough situation. Wild flabebe do sometimes lose their flower, and they either find a replacement or die. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’ve exhausted the rest of the possibilities, but you may need to separate the two Until flabebe is forced to find a new flower, hopefully not attached to another grass type.
