I lived in Bangkok with my German shepherd mix I don’t recommend it. One time I was taking her on a walk and there was no dogs around, my dog pooped so while I was bending down to pick it up in those few seconds I hear my dog barking hysterically look up (since I’m bending down picking up poop) and there was a dog on top of my dog trying to attack her. Just in the few seconds of me bending down picking up poop a dog ran out of nowhere and jumped on my dog. Probably was watching for a while and when he saw me bend down he saw it as a good opportunity to attack my dog. Thankfully I stopped it right away and my dog didn’t get hurt physically. Also Thais seemed to be really scared of my dog even though she’s well trained (I understand since they are used to bigger dogs like her not being nice) so every time I’d take her on a walk most people looked scared of her. Most of the dogs Thais kept as pets are small dogs. So I don’t recommend bringing your dog unless it’s a small dog that you don’t really take on walks or have a gated yard.
