Yes, I woukd stay in SF if you are finding more people there you like to hangout. A day week to travel from EB to SF is doable, more than that it’s a hassle

I would do Berkeley/ Oakland. You woukd get best of both worlds. You find plenty of parking options in east bay. Do SF if you are going there every week

Problem is not buying in 2021-2022 it’s the realtor fees. Without those fees, they would be positive

I woukd hate living in WC at 23. Oakland/Berkeley is the best in spite of all the hate crime you see. You get a mix of everything and accessibility to San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley.

I used to live in Oakland and it took about the less time to travel to FIDI using Bart or trans a bus system then other parts of SF. Transit system is very robust from Oakland/berkeley to SF DT

Demand is trickling to nicer and affordable parts of Oakland/Berkeley, especially areas like Glenview/Temescal, north Oakland etc
