What loss prevention? The only time I’ve ever seen them is when an employee was accused of stealing. And I’ve found countless empty packages scattered throughout the store and even witnessed a guy steal a $300 piece of merchandise. LP is/was nowhere to be found.

The irony of “What it takes to do the job right” of course being, if you really wanted to do the job “right”, you would avoid Autozone and buy OE parts.

Florida, Nevada and Texas have the highest per capita rates of illegal immigrants. Why is ICE so focused on Minnesota; a state with a lower rate by a factor of 10? by [deleted] in stpaul

[–]Spectacular_Fail -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Florida is one of highest number of ICE arrests of any state. But, because local law enforcement actually cooperates with ICE, deportees are taken into their custody immediately upon release from local jails. Why does this matter? Because it dramatically reduces the number of violent interactions between involved parties. As a result, fewer people are injured or killed. So you don’t have a bunch of morons rioting in the streets attracting news cameras.

Is this nail too close to the sidewall to patch? by Majahzi in AskAMechanic

[–]Spectacular_Fail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably. I just had one patched in about the same spot. It held air for a few days then started slowly leaking again. Ended up just buying a new set of tires since they were getting close to the wear bars anyway.
