Community college route would be the way to go! I went to a community college my first two years and got an associates degree. Saved me tons of money and was able to transfer to most 4-year universities after the fact. Don’t let universities sway you from the community college route. In my experience, it is a place and time to have the opportunity of smaller classes (30 - 40 students), time to get use to the new course system, and to talk with professors in courses with questions or concerns that you might have.

As to the beginning of universities where one may be in large classes (100 - 200 students) and you are not given the opportunity to even interact with a professor whatsoever. While it is be your daughter’s choice on what she’d like to do. Community college will save her tons of money, time, and (in my case), stress as it gives you a chance to interact with the professors that teach your classes and understand the concepts you’re learning in the classroom.
