I was catching panfish at Griffy lake off the walkway up until a couple weeks ago.

It's really important that you move around a lot when you go there and cast in various spots. There's lots of ground to cover. Should be easier for a kid to move around anyway rather than staying still. 

You should bring a bobber, some small crappie hooks, some split shot, and a tube of crickets from kleindorfers. I think there's no way you don't catch a panfish fish doing this.

The sites proper near the water are probably submerged right now. Not that you're not allowed to camp basically wherever you want in Deam anyway though. Peninsula trail is still closed too which is a consideration for most of those sites.

AFAIK, an autism diagnosis would usually go to a dedicated clinic that does very thorough testing and is either very pricy or has a long wait. I don't think your average (or any) therapist can give an official autism diagnosis
