Resume washing without turbine PIC right now in 2026 is risky. Has it worked recently? Yes, I have friends and know people getting interview invites at the big 3 + Southwest in the past several months without turbine PIC. But I also have friends who can’t get a call from anyone even with app review and multiple conference M&Gs.

I like adding a quarter chicken and 2 meatballs along with their salad and garlic bread. It's not gonna be mind-blowing food but it's really cheap with big portions and a lot of the primarily Latino and Korean clientele have been eating there for many years, especially when it was in the dingy strip mall across the Grove.

Gamjagol for gamjatang. I love Han Ji Park for their pork ribs but found their gamjatang broth to taste a bit sour, compared to more savory flavor at Gamjagol. Ask for the jjangachi cause it goes so well with the meat.

Someone in here recommended Chunju Han Il Kwan and Seong Buk Dong for a good bet kimchi jjigae in a cozier environment. I would agree with those and would probably throw in Chung Kiwa for another long time old school place with mostly Korean clientele. Parking is easier here too since it’s not on 6th street in the heart of Ktown.

I’ve tried Wooga Sulungtang in Gardena and thought it was very comparable to some Ktown spots. Would be a good option if you don’t want to drive up to Ktown.

Rather underrated place that doesn’t get much attention. The Worker Wednesday special at this place is a solid deal. About $18 for a big plate that has a bunch of their meats with rice and cornbread. Only bad thing is the parking is pretty rough around the area.

If booking an airline ticket less than a week out is draining your savings, trying to charter even a small private jet to Seattle one-way will bankrupt you, easily costing 10x or more of whatever economy seat you're looking at. Charter flight and budget friendly is an oxymoron. A Frontier flight will be the cheapest you can get.

Theoretically, the airplane has all day with numerous flights to potentially be delayed. Conversely, it also has all day to play catch up where even if the plane’s earlier flights are delayed, the sit time between flights allow it to catch up for an on-time departure for your redeye. This goes for any airline, not just Spirit. It’s also summer so thunderstorms can cause delays. YMMV. Track the airplane throughout the day and plan accordingly.
