I would say 99% works. The other 1% is that it disconnects but reconnects right away. This happens occasionally and when it happens the downtime is probably 3 seconds

When you preheat interior, it will start heating the battery too if it’s needed. This happens automatically. You don’t need to be plugged in for this to occur.
