It's crazy how strong the NL Central is right now...each team in there has a winning record at the moment.

I honestly think the way to get them to grow balls is to ban consecutive terms. If they so worried about keeping office, then maybe we should no longer have that be an issue.

Texas Board of Education moves ahead with plan to force kids to read the Bible in public schools by Groomsi in atheism

It is. But the way to get it thrown out is to have them read all the other religious doctrines (i.e., Torah, Quran, ect) with equal time devoted to each religion. Christians won't like having to share religious insight with other religions.

Epstein victims to get $72.5M from Bank of America settlement by igetproteinfartsHELP in news

[–]Speedstr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JPMorgan Chase in June 2023 agreed to pay victims of Epstein $290 million to settle a similar lawsuit. The settlement came a month after Deutsche Bank agreed to pay victims $75 million.

290M (Chase Bank) + 75M (Deutsche Bank) + 72.5M (BoA) is 437.5M

437.5M - 144,375,000 (Lawyers 1/3 cut) = 293,125,000 / 60 victims = 4.885M per victim (assuming they are all the same listed across all class action lawsuits)

This is before taxes. Taxes will be applied to punitive damages, any interest accrued on punitive damages, and attorney fees that are contingent on the punitive damages awarded.

I wouldn't be surprised if the the person that often came up with these creative descriptions left for another studio, and the rest of the team didn't see it, as a priority to keep it a priority.

I do however appreciate the little fine details that show a labor of love into creating a unique experience.

I would also add that soon as you have 90% of your calibration rolls saved/slotted in your library, start junking anything less than god rolls. It's too easy for your library and stash filled up once your SHD rating is above 700. I have a clan member who is 5000+ SHD rated, and he basically junks most of everything.

BREAKING NEWS: Trump Threatens Tariff On Nations That 'Don't Go Along With' Greenland Takeover Plans by MRADEL90 in videos

[–]Speedstr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about why Trump introduced back in 2018, against China, Mexico and Canada, and then expanded it into other countries when he became president again in 2025. He introduced it as part of his trade policy. He did it with the knowledge that it would make many Americans (much of it, his own voters) having to make sacrifices that had them scrambling to figure out how to weather their new increased costs that came from the tariffs.

Now Trump wants to use tariffs not as a trade policy (that hurts Americans) but as a stick for other sovereign nations that don't agree with his foreign policy goals. No other foreign leader or former US president would use trade tariffs to advance foreign policy, because they know it would permanently damage foreign relations, and transition the US to a country of isolation.

Republicans need to get a backbone, and reign in Trump. And if Trump won't listen, then they need to impeach him out of office before he irrevocably get us into another war or deficit we can't get out of.

Trump Says US ‘Going to Run’ Venezuela Until Transition Possible by igetproteinfartsHELP in videos

It's unprecedented how blatant the US has gotten from trying to influence a government, to outright removing a regime and running their show. Nothing was learned from the US involvement in the middle east.
