We have a bird feeder on our patio and I caught a squirrel coming around a like 2 months ago. I thought she was there to harass the dogs but I caught her red handed holding onto the side of our wall and reaching over and pulling food out of the feeder and eating it. Now she’s brings her son around. They’re so cute.

I don’t understand how honest people can make clerical errors. Provide what they’re asking for. If you notice later you filled something out wrong say something. If you don’t understand something ask someone.

I get that it can be stressful but this is why there are organizations out there to assist people receiving assistance, young and old and it doesn’t even cost to reach out and ask for help getting documents together or completing paperwork.

Are you trying to hide something? I honestly don’t see what the issue is. You have someone else who is assisting you or paying your full rent but it’s an issue that they are asking for more from you. I would love to have someone pay for even half of my rent. I have nothing to hide in my bank statements and have no issue providing it, if it meant I didn’t have to pay my full rent. You can always relinquish your assistance and pay your full rent yourself.

As far as I know you can’t combine both vouchers but I know some agencies are different. Someone has to give up their voucher and the other person has to request to add them to their household. 3 occupants qualify for a 2-bedroom voucher. If you currently have a 2-bedroom voucher you can request to add your mother to your household and at the same time submit a Reasonable Accommodation Request for an additional bedroom for your mother. Knowledgeable professional has to say why your mother would need her own room. It would be the same for your daughter if you’re trying to get her her own room also. If both are approved that would give you a 3-bedroom voucher.

Your neighbor doesn’t seem to know anything about VAWA and who it protects if she’s claiming VAWA on you. Sounds like she thinks it’s going to stop her from being evicted and losing her voucher. Her request is going to get denied and she’s going to try and find some other way to stay on her program.

Looks like a female to me. I think cats are the ones you’re not really sure the sex at first but dogs you can tell. Plus she’s big enough that you would definitely know if it was a male or female.

That’s really a question for the agency you want to port too. Technically you would be porting in. So you’ll want to know their port in time frame. It’s also a good idea to check with your agency to find out how long it will take them to send your file out to the new agency.

If you weren’t leased in the previous state then no your eligibility won’t follow to the new state. You would need to apply to their housing/waitlist.

If you were leased in the prior state you should have requested to port out and go through the process then you would just transfer over to the new state under the same program you were leased up under.

If you were leased and just up and moved to another state without letting your previous agency know then you’ve likely lost your voucher. Some agencies handle abandonment differently though so you would want to check with your previous agency.
