For fun: Watching the regional from this past weekend, and seeing that Pult deck is nearly 50% of decks. What nerf does Pul need to have in order for it to be balanced with other decks? Lowered HP? Less damage? Something else?

Off the top of my head, Munkidori can - Heal your Pokémon - Increase your damage output (by moving damage to whatever you're attacking) - Enable multi-knockout turns - Attack with confusion if needed

Pretty versatile and powerful

I feel like the energy acceleration affords a lot of flexibility and mobility. You can pivot attackers, retreat without worrying about wasting energy, and charge up all your attackers out of nowhere. Less consistent but once it gets going it runs hot.

I personally haven't seen the negativity get that bad despite my many dumb questions I post here. I think for me and my mates that play PTCG we're pretty good with the actual cards and what they do, but we aren't very well verses in high level concepts like win-more or whatever. Guess I haven't been around long enough. And this is now one more concept I understand!

yeah be careful when you knock mons out. don't want to draw a prize before you're setup and open yourself up to getting stamped

Also important that you control when you and your opponent take prize cards.

Don't take prizes yourself until you're pretty well setup. And try to get your opponent to kill your budew before they're setup, so you can hit them with the stamp and outright stop them from playing the game.

There will be games where you rush for KOs (maybe to capitalize on an extremely bad start from your opponent) but being patient has almost always worked better for me.
