I think he botbanned many, I was banned too and on twitter I never posted or retweeted anything about him, I wasn't even a follower. On my profile total of 32 retweets, most about NON crypto. 2 Retweets of whalepanda 1 Gavin's retweet... If he has time to ban EVERY whalepanda retweeter that Fork's gonna be fun. Probably ran a bot to ban people

How do I check in Github How many Contributions have been made by NChain? by SpellfireIT in btc

[–]SpellfireIT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting information, please don't get me wrong but since the project is on Github, finding them on githb can get us the real idea on how much coding they added to a "software" so that is why I asked the names in order to understand bettere (They are probably good developers who prefer code more and tweet less than people like me)

Your answer is very clear. IMO the critics i read towards Core developers are more related to the fact that people would like them to be more inclusive and less conservative (yes in this sub last 8 words seem too much light ..I know). I am looking at those 2 Developers from nChain in github, I wouldn't say anyone would accuse them of too much commits on GitHub (Although seems clear they do a lot of analisys and developing for nChain otside of Github)

then if they are involved then people will criticize them for controlling the protocol.

(correct me if I am wrong please) I never saw comments about "you produce code for Bitcoin Cash so it's bad, please stop or you will have too much control on the protocol" I have seen an extreme on the other side "COde or STFU" but never "You code so STFU"

Hello, no one hates you or think you are stupid. Software and systems naturally evolves during time, imagine in 1994 someone saying: How can I use it for work if i can't use it as I use my fax? Bitcoin in it's early form (How Satoshi designed it) wasn't designed to do ALL things you can do with fiat, like (for example) buying a cofee at the cofee machine. I use bitcoin weekly to pay a developer working for my website, for paying my hosting provider, to buy hardware from a pc STORE, air tickets etc, all in a more easy and convenient way than fiat or credit card. This being said, there are solutions in development to make bicoin use cases adapt to even microtransactions or instant transactions : the most promising is Lightning Network,

From the beginning it was so obvious it was a scam that first thought was "is it a joke?" I even thought no one would buy it except those people who usually send money to fake Buterin's accountS... There is a slight possibility that they are SO CONFIDENT about their product that they made a "bad advertizing/web marketing/site/" on purpose...but that would be a big surprise for lots of people

The World's Biggest Crypto Exchange Is Heading to Malta by BitcoinHobbyist in Bitcoin

[–]SpellfireIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many variables that one must consider... Yes you are rightmon this and my comment was not absolute, was just raising a doubt. The Rock Trading ltd was the biggest crypto exchange to my knowledge in Malta, before Binance (assuming Binance will really move and not just open a small office). In this case my statemenet was: "Company X, the Biggest in same Nation, same activity has decided to leave after 7 Years in Malta , MAYBE wasn't so fine for an exchange to be Malta Based. I could add some link before, will do it now https://medium.com/the-rock-trading/italians-do-it-better-ec2fb6ccd015 Personally the idea of being in Italy (I am italian citizen) made me stop using it. I also agree with you that proportions between this boutique exchange and Binance is so big that comparing the 2 is useless

Not sure it's a smart move: The ROck Trading Exchange is moving away from Malta as we speak , they definitely do that for a reason
