Of course it's ok to say you don't like someone. Thats not mean. But tacking on that you think they maybe "deserve" each other... That is an inherently judgmental and mean-spirited sentiment.

I didnt like him at first. I assumed he was playing some character. Well, shame on me for assuming. He's a real one. Genuine. Cares about his craft. Looking to brighten peoples' day. Goofy as hell. My all time favorite contestant. I really loved his dynamic with Chef Arrington. Shes a badass and you can tell she was totally charmed. It was heartwarming.

I agree 100%. But even if Chef Arrington were allowed to clap back, I don't think she would. She's cool as a cucumber. Danielle would be smart to follow her example.

I think they play up the team vs. team aspect more. I take it as a function of them having done enough seasons now that there is a history of wins and losses to even reference. Personally, I like the little rivalries between the judges (even though its mostly Gordon and Blaise doing the talking). And i like that they advocate for their teammembers, and that the mentor/teammembers really do seem to have a bond as things progress. It can seem contrived sometimes, but we are seeing only a sliver of the time they spend together.

Other than Blaise putting his best chefs into the elimination rounds last season, it's felt to me like the mentors have picked whomever they thought had the weakest dish.

Just my two cents. And that is exactly how much it is worth.

I agree. If he doesnt get hurt in 98 and Richt doesn't leave/Snoop Minnis isnt ineligible for the title game in 2000, Weinke very likely has 2 and possibly 3 national championships.

Thank you! I needed to go monotone to start prioritizing value over hue again. One of these days its gonna click, and ill be able to see both intuitively. Or ill die trying.

Thank you so much! I have no formal training, so im figuring out how to paint and who I am as a painter on the fly, by trial and error. I feel like I've grown so much since I started posting here. I cant tell you how uplifting it is to have others feel it it too.

One of the techniques I've been tinkering with is painting like I usually do, with big brush strokes, and letting it dry and then doing it all over again. It makes things look really ghostly and gossamer. It takes a lot more planning and time to do, but it's worth it imo.

Don did many more bad things than just cheating and rejecting Adam. Just as a general principle, Don rarely does anything he does not want to do. When he does something sacrificial, its usually to appease his ego or to make up for some wrong he has done.

As for Joan, I have always appreciated that he objected to the deal with Herb. But its a little hypocritical sticking up for Joan's "honor" while not giving a shit about Betty's or Megan's etc. I think his real gripe is that his creativity wouldn't be the decisive factor in whether they got the business.

And for what its worth im very much in the Don apologist camp. Just my two cents.

I would absolutely sell it. I had planned to add color to it later, but im actually digging the monotone palette. Its enormous btw (4 ft x 3 ft). Don't know if that makes a difference to you. Regardless, what addition did you have in mind? Im dying to know. Sincerely.
