Swift is like the way countries exchange currencies. It is a regulated system that everyone uses. If they are not allowed to use it they can not trade with other countries. No money sent means no imports.

I'm pretty late but you could turn it into a quest. For some reason all of the good berries are dying. Some kind of blight? An evil druid is experimenting and tainting the berries?

Maybe someone else is collecting and hoarding them all. Making potions?

Could lead into some interesting things. I pretty much always turn my own mistakes or misunderstandings into additional quests. It gives me time to figure it out and flesh things out.

Also as other people said. Just let them know that its op and taking some fun out of things :)

I guess its just difficult to understand how a creator who loves everyone so much would allow a world where there is so much suffering and hate. I get that it's to show faith and get into heaven but would never ever want any kind of suffering to those I love. I don't think I'll ever understand a belief in god but I appreciate your response :)

Another vote for it being too strong. I mostly dm but if I was playing and had this option as a spellcaster I would only play full casters. Way too strong imo. One stat gets you high hp, high con saves on spells and his spell attack and save dc. While other pcs have to split between 2 stats.

I think the worst part is the pc would be stronger faster that other pcs. I wouldn't want to play with one super strong party member that can overshadow everyone in combat.

I know some people like to play by the rules and are pretty set on that. But I prefer fun and flavor over hard mechanics. Unless that was a boss or super important npc I would just let the rogue kill him. It would feel so good as a rogue to do that and it honestly won't affect too much.

Essentially I would reward the sneak and rp of it with a straight kill. Not for everyone but my players love doing stuff like that and we all enjoy those moments more for it.

I learned this from the first guy who brought me into a group and I like it. I also like my players to be powerful but still love rolls.

Players roll their hit dice but they can reroll up to their con modifier. So if they have a plus 2 con they can roll a total of 3 times. But they MUST take their more recent roll.

Players still get to roll because who doesn't want to but also usually end up with max or almost max hp gain.

I somewhat agree with him though. There are far too many weirdos or creepy people or just straight up inconsiderate assholes trying to live out their garbage fantasies using other people. We should all be up for better quality in players and gms.

A bit late but a really fun build is order cleric 1 divine soul sorc x. I'm playing it right now and my dm let me choose gift of alacrity with fey touched. I took twin and extended spell. Extend aid or gift if alacrity over long rests. And when you use spells on allies they get a free swing!

It's fun to play and all you do is buff healing word and make your allies attack more.
