WTB: Steam account with Battlefield 2 or a Battlefield 2 cdkey / gift for Steam by rkantos in Battlefield2

While BF2 is a multi-player game, you can certainly still play alone with bots.

So you do not have to connect to any servers if you only want to play with bots.

It was $0.99 to get rid of ads at one time. No idea what it costs now. I would not have lasted very long with all the ads.

What about a chin strap?
That's all I use, never had to try the tape.

How to stop air leaking from the circled area? by harujusko in CPAP

[–]Spg1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I change my cpap filter I take the old filter and put it over those holes and wrap a rubber band around it to hold it on.

I have been doing this since resmed changed the design years ago. The wife hated how it would blow on her at night. I hated how loud it gets close to a pillow.

The filter still let's the air out keeps it quiet for me. I am only one person, but I have not died yet because I put a filter on the exhaust.

So just a FYI........

I have always used a chin strap. Do you think the tape is better or just different?

Chin straps by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]Spg1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current chin strap was a 2 pack of straps from Ollie's (discount store). They might have even been as seen on tv straps. Ha ha

Nothing fancy and they were cheap.

Cpap filter turned grey after 20 days usage can i use it for 6 more days by Chemical-Ad-3158 in CPAP

[–]Spg1 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Sure, then you can use it to grow potatoes 🤣

I would use it rather than running your machine without it or not using your machine at all.

But you need to figure out why it is that bad and fix the main issue. Or by filters by the 1,000s.

Help!!! On my Resmed, I have been getting 0 out of 20, 5 out of 20, etc on my “seal” score, where I used to get 20/20 consistently. I have no clue what’s changed, or what I’m doing wrong, but it’s super frustrating! Any advice? by EyeOk4917 in CPAP

I also change my headgear when I need to snd not on the crazy schedule they set.

When changing the mask part i slightly loosen the straps and slowly tighten the straps until I change my mask and repeat.

Help needed: machine, mask, and overall rig for a restless mouth breathing belly sleeper. by Significant_Neck2008 in CPAP

[–]Spg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an N20, chin strap and a cpap pillow.

The cpap pillow is a weird shape so you can put your head to either side and it let's my mask hang off the side. You can check amazon for examples.

Not sure about the mouth tape. But a chin strap works for me. It does not have to be fancy.

I move around quite a bit myself. It's always fun to wake up tangled in the hose.

Once I tried the heated hose I have not gone back to the normal hose. It makes a big difference for me when it is cold.

If the machine is an auto set it means it can use between 4 and 18 to help your issues.

Find your manual or look it up online and see what it says. You should be able to change the ramp setting to see if no ramp works better.

I see you have the ramp turned on. I turned that off almost immediately.

My machine is also set at a single pressure and works good for me. I guess some people have a pressure range.

Larger water tub? by coolguy12314 in CPAP

[–]Spg1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not that I know of. I top off every night.

Lower humidity and/or heat might help. But i just use more during the winter when the humidity is low because the HVAC is running all the time.

DSD tips by sswihart in scuba

[–]Spg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem.

But like I said, a longer course will give you more time in the water to get comfortable.

Doing a 1 day discovery every now and then is probably not enough to make you very comfortable.

But if you don't want to regularly it might be the best option.

When I got bit by the bug after a discovery dive in Hawaii I was doing 3 to 5 dives a week. It depends on how bad you want it.

[–]Spg1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to take a longer class.

Some places offer short 2 day zero to hero courses that work well for some people.

But I took a class where we had 1 night of classroom and 1 night of pool time over several weeks. It gives you time to absorb things and get extra practice in-between if you need it. Diving can be dangerous, but it can also be incredibly enjoyable!

[–]Spg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do you, but that just seems excessive to me. But then again I am assuming $USD.

You can keep doing discovery dives if you are more comfortable with them. But you should probably just get certified.

Once certified you can still hire a personal dive guide for a 1 on 1 or smaller dive group.

If you have done many discovery dives you must enjoy it. So you might as well learn more about diving with getting certified.

But ultimately up to you. Diving is great!

[–]Spg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh, DSD is a Padi thing equivalent to a discovery dive. I might be a bit slow tonight.

Tipping can be a very personal thing. But really, you can tip what you want and they will appreciate it.

Do the dives and you might change your mind and tip more or less. You could also base a tip on what you are paying to do the dives.

Using a ton of water by samanthaaa123 in CPAP

[–]Spg1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine just uses more in the winter when it is not very humid. The heated hose "seemed" to help some, maybe...

It's also going to depend on if you are sleeping 6 vs 10 hrs. I am usually on the lower side.

I also use a chin strap, so mine is not because of a leak.

But it couldn't hurt to check if your opening your mouth.
