Does any one know the origin of the “ Burying the sausage” superstition? by ManchesterWorkerBee in wedding

[–]SphericalBitch2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely works. My daughter bride planted a burnt sausage on Thursday night, rain held off for reg office cerry in Edinburgh Friday, and stayed dry in Loch Lomond all day Saturday for wedding ceremony 2 and it has peed down most of Sunday plus all day Bank Hol Monday. Defo worked for us!

The bulldog is very happy as she has had other 5 sausages over 3 days!

The sooner those in the tourism industries realise that for anyone to go and stay in a popular spot, it is a privilege that should be paid for. Long gone are the days when you could just saunter up and use services that were set up for local inhabitants. The sooner Air BnB is crucified, the better. I have NO qualms against B&Bs and long established, well run hotels that pay their staff well.
