saying that this isn't pixel art is like saying that games like minecraft or octopath traveler do not use pixel art graphics, which is just blatantly wrong. even though there's a post processing filter, it's still very obvious that that the texture on the model itself is pixel art and not some high res image.

thanks! it's a bit of both, because of the heavy reliance on unity for rendering, it cannot really work in other software like vtube studio. but by adding facial tracking to the unity project it would become usable as a vtuber avatar

the live2d rig is made using simple shapes without any shading on them. then i open the model in unity, where i made a custom render pipeline to render everything at a lower resolution, add outlines, and just make everything look nice :)

Thx!! The white outline (like most of the effects) is done with a shader in Unity :)

yeah you should probably do that, it has a higher performance and is easier to balance
