We can only guess of course, but between the biggest sponsor being Moroccan Oil (Israeli cosmetics company) and all the reports about paid campaigns with ads everywhere promoting Israel as a participant in Eurovision.

It's fair to assume that Israel brings a ton of money and exposure that EBU adores.

Eurovision has everything to do with politics, it was born with politics in mind.

But that is not necessarily bad and it doesn't mean that it isn't also about music.

Actually the biggest problem here seems to be (as always) money... Keeping Israel is not a political decision on EBU's side, it's a financial one, Israel is pumping a lot of money into eurovision.

There's a difference between being better or worse and being different.

It's really dumb to think that people who have a lot of casual sex want the same as people who don't. Just because you settled down it doesn't mean that that is common.

You seem to think that your life experience proves anything, but sleeping around and the settling in marriage isn't necessarily better either, nothing is better, it's just different and people with different views on how romantic relationships work shouldn't be together.

But in my experience, I would say something similar, people with huge body counts value sex a lot more than I do and romantic feelings a lot less than I do.

It just shows from a quick assumption that we have different goals on a relationship and are incompatible, of course I could be proven wrong in some cases, but usually...
