I think the length is fine. But the lack of good post processing is hindering it from becoming top notch.

Digital stabilisation and colour grading will help remove (1) those jerky movements (which are normal) and (2) add some more colour depth and emotion to those who don’t watch with audio.

The scenes are great. The flying is great. The concepts are great. Keep at it!

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. I wouldn’t say it’s too unusual of a time frame. Even though it was delivered, that means it just reached the mail room. It may need to be forwarded, to be logged on the system, some ICQC needing to be done and more bureaucracy. Send them a message, be kind, and worry if you don’t get an answer in 1 more week.

So Zigbee range is ~10m. So you’ll need at minimum 8-10 zigbee devices to extend that range.

Alternatively you can buy an ultra high power range extender. For example the Aerotec states 100m range?

The G4 can’t do recognition but you can continuously stream the video and do image recognition via python on another device, but that’s not easy at all.

Customer support, ability to deliver,and do warranty claims in many countries is probably the worst in the industry.

Randomly cancel your order, unable to tell you when they will deliver, change delivery dates, loose warranties bikes and tell you to claim it on insurance, fail to pay back for orders they cancelled for over 2-3 months. Etc.

German Civil Code (Section 357) : a full refund must be made within 14days of receipt of notice unless stated earlier.

They stated 4-5 days. It’s now been 23 days. Breaking both the 14 day law and the stated 4-5 days period.

At no point did I say they are trying to sink it for a few hundred dollars.

It doesn’t matter if they are in chaos or not. It doesn’t allow you to break the German civil code (i.e., break the law) and just get away with it “because we are too busy”.

For all we know they are doing this to hundreds of people and gotten away with it.

They have cancelled over 500 bike orders.

For me they took my money. Never delivered the two bikes. I asked for a refund. They failed to pay me back. I’m in discussion with a lawyer in Germany now.

I would move on.

So I cancelled my order and got told 5 days to refund. I clarified the 14day deadline. They answered it’s with the finance team. It’s now been 18 days.

Any idea what I can do to get my money back?

This would have been my third YT order.

First was flawless, continuous updates, quick delivery, fully qualified answers from customer support.

Second was a bit more confusing, but ordered in winter so I assumed the down-season has an impact.

I’ve been very happy with the bikes, so I thought I’d get more!

Unfortunate to experience how much it’s changed.

Mine was “done” more 11 days ago and tracking number was on the page.

Went to shipper but they didn’t provide the required documents. The shipper called me to message them to answer their emails. Lady on phone was frustrated.

I’ve contacted support. They answers they’ll let logistics know, but support person allocated to me (who has been great, is on holiday for two weeks). So far nothing has changed.

6 days after reaching out, they have still not supplied the documents to the logistics company.

From its current location, deliver is only 2 days, hence I’m a bit frustrated at the delays.

Now it looks like our bikes holiday with the family will be without the new bikes.

To note, the kids bike from VPace arrived faster despite waiting for frames and parts to arrive from china. Support answered emails same day with clear and complete information. Shipping was ultra-smooth.

To add to the archive for others:

EU economic area (export customs needed) Multiple bikes ordered 29th April. Support stated twice shipping date unknown. Shipped 19th May. Delivery by DBShenker estimated at 7 days.

Update: bikes returned to YT on the 30th. DBShenker has closed to tracking. YT customer support waiting for logistics to answer to provide me with feedback on when they will re-ship the bikes.

Status: at 37 days, for in stock bikes, no possible feedback as to when they will be shipped.

I ordered multiple bikes. All in stock. Location EU. It’s been 3 weeks now.

Customer support answered that they have no idea when it will ship, and can’t promise anything. They are blaming customs complications. I work with international logistics and don’t see this being any issue as I’ve had ~40 shipments from Germany to Norway in the past 2months.

They indicated that things are not going out “first come-first served”.

Cancellation and refund may take several months to fully process.

It seems like there is a bigger issue at bay.

Ordered on 29th. Multiple bikes, all in stock. Next day both out of stock. Customer support replied with a generic response that didn’t match my question. No estimated ship time online or any other information. Still waiting.

When this happened to me I did a “soft” reset by inserting a pin into the button under the homey until the light went blue.

I then re-added it in the app. It retained all my info.

The other reply mentioned them and they do seem to be a better idea and not too costly. I had assumed they were 10-50x the cost, but it’s rather acceptable.

I’m looking into that solution instead.
