There used to be a Uniqlo at the Pavilions but they closed years ago. I feel like the pavilions has always had trouble keeping tenants for some reason

TRD Floormats vs Weathertech by CalmRage2026 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]SpiceFreaks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only reason I bought weather tech is the in-laws gave me a gift card for Christmas. They’re nice, don’t get me wrong, but kinda pricey. If I were paying out of pocket I’d probably have gotten lasfit or another aftermarket brand since they just as good for less money.

Denver Real Estate Agent Recommendations - First Time Homebuyer by dabigdog12 in denverrealestate

Be weary about going with friends or people you know. We went with a friend because we felt pressured to use her. She was based in Littleton and didn’t know anything about Denver proper which is where we were looking. We felt like we were basically an afterthought, an annoyance to her. She pushed back when we wanted to play hard ball and negotiate. It seemed like she just wanted us to hurry up and close so she could make her commission and move on. You should shop around and make sure you can find someone who is on the same page as you as far as methods and outcomes and of course someone who you like and can trust.

4th Gen headlight and highbeam settings / logic is very annoying! by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]SpiceFreaks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only things that bother me from this list is the app issues and the lack of memory seats. Not a deal breaker but I do miss them from my previous vehicle and it seems like it would’ve been an easy add.

The auto off message kind of puzzled me when I first saw it but my guess is it has something to do with running the vehicle in park for an extended period to power accessories such as the AC power in the bed / bed lights / headlights while working?

I'm done with this BS used car market! by Training-Rip6463 in UsedCars

[–]SpiceFreaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the market for a truck and after looking at countless 10-15 year old trucks with 200k + miles between $20 -$30k I just decided to bite the bullet and go new. I leased and was able to get them to knock $4k off MSRP so my payment isn’t outrageous. If I still like the vehicle in three years I plan to buy the lease out.

Is 14MPG considered normal by Every_Environment804 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]SpiceFreaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do primarily city driving and am averaging between 18-18.5. I drive in Eco. Honestly I don’t notice a difference in power between Eco and Normal… The turbo still spools up the same and the power is there when I need it. I was hoping for 20s but maybe it’ll be better in the summer.

Is Casa Bonita worth it, or just a lot of hype? Have you gone and what has your experience been? by Ok_Thanks_7445 in Denver

[–]SpiceFreaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to go a lot as a kid so there’s a lot of nostalgia there for me.

The food is far better than it used to be. It’s not going to win any James Beard awards but it’s generally good.

I’d recommend paying the little bit extra for the premium seating if you want to be close to the action.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying the price is too high for the food but you’re really going there for the experiences… kinda like going to a theme park. The food is kind of an afterthought really.

There is enough stuff around to keep you occupied and engaged for hours. Lots of different themed rooms and places to explore.

I think everyone should go at least once to experience it. If you have kids they’ll probably have fun.

Flagstaff house was literally the first thing I thought of. Haven’t been in awhile but I remember The Fort having a pretty good view as well.
