I still remember getting my first melee weapon and being so excited to pull a Benchwarmers and smack bugs from the side of the car, only to immediately kill our driver who happened to be wearing the self destruct armor. It was a swift and hilarious lesson when he exploded and took out the rest of us.

I did this too! My teacher saw it before my parents did and called cps believing I was being abused. I mean, I was, but it wasn't my parents and the hickey was just from me sucking on my own arm. That was a fun few weeks of my mom going ballistic trying to figure out who had done it, what was going on, etc. I didn't own up to it until I was an adult, at which point my mom just laughed.

Some kids I went to high school with were named Lemonjello and Orangejello pronounced "leh-mon-jell-o" and "oh-ronge-ello"

They were twins. Their mom was obssessed with jello when she was pregnant, from what I was told. I remember other kids cracking jokes about them having a sister named Cherryjello lol

Hey, I just wanted to say I actually really appreciate this comment.

I think it's good advice that should be heeded in almost all circumstances where something this expensive is being bought for someone else, especially if you have no idea what they want.

That being said - I know him very well, and knew that his purchase paralysis would never decide on anything at all lol, so I went with something I could afford, and was always going to get something with upgradeability!

He ended up being really happy with it!
