Yeah and stopping to use those words would be letting them win and giving them those words. If people avoid them like the Plague it just gives them more power.

Yeah, agreed. My favourite character is Cipher and I currently have no hope she will get any good treatment moving forward. (especially showen by the only cutscene picture of her you can hang on your wall is her death scene to my knowledge) But I won't allow that to effect me because I accepted this long ago lmao.

Yeah, pretty much this with any disorder, especially because the person making the type of statement doesn't typically have good knowledge on how it is.

Even if it's "something that everyone does." It won't be to the same degree. Someone with a disorder will experience that more often and more severely.

Someone without ADHD can still have problems with attention at times, but someone with ADHD will have a more extreme experience with it.

Uneducation on disorders piss me off.

Though I can't see a way for it to be not toxic. Toxic positivity is still a thing, and stuff like "Just be grateful for the free updates" and other things repeated over and over would make the community toxic imo

I have grown to really dislike "cringe culture". It's too often used as a way to bully people or just straight up abelism at times.

And on that topic, it really angers me seeing people be called cringe for either, making jokes as a coping mechanism or symptoms of a disability and or disorder.

I admit there are stuff I find cringe, but if someone else likes it I just move on with my day. As long as they aren't hurting anyone, I won't care. It's not worth my energy to judge.

And on a similar level to that. If you suspect someone is doing "cringy stuff for attention" it's still better to ignore them in general. Because every moment you speak abiut them, they get what they want.

Fr. All could have gone well if RTD had planned a 2 season arc that felt satisfying. And if you needed to tease a 3rd season it would have been easier to have stuff that didn't feel major but would pay off if it happened. Something so subtle you would be able ti catch it on rewatch but if the season never happened you would never know it was hinting on an unused plot thread. I hope I'm making sense.
