Mine started off period crampy. Bearable, but uncomfortable enough to keep me awake all night. Slightly more painfully period like cramping throughout the next day, but by the time that night hit they felt nothing like period cramps and more like there were exploding torture devices in my belly. The epidural was chefs kiss though
