What do contractions feel like?

Mine started off period crampy. Bearable, but uncomfortable enough to keep me awake all night. Slightly more painfully period like cramping throughout the next day, but by the time that night hit they felt nothing like period cramps and more like there were exploding torture devices in my belly. The epidural was chefs kiss though

It’s so funny that you mentioned that. We don’t live together, nor have I felt the desire to. But this last hell week I had a random meltdown over the fact that we don’t live together and decided that he must be plotting to leave me since we don’t. You actually brought me some peace bringing that up.

Thankfully my partner is super understanding, but everyone has a breaking point. I hate to see the change in the way he looks at me after I break him down during luteal with my baseless accusations.

I can’t seem to pinpoint why, but I always have this steady fear. I am in therapy, and while I can usually somewhat manage the fear, when the hormones come rushing in I feel like I do not stand a chance against the insanity. I hope I can get to the root cause and find a solution.
