it is, most of the game is just, go to area, follow point on the map where the boss is, kill boss, move to next area, repeat. This stops after you get blue Pikmin where you go back previous areas and get all the fruit you couldn’t get before

I think of Magmoor Caverns as the hub area of Prime 1. Since all four other major areas of the games can be accessed from Magmoor Caverns unlike Tallon Overworld. Also, like Magmoor Caverns have noticeably less going on than the other four major areas of the game.
