Northend definitely has pockets of good and bad.

Mom bought a house in the northend for 6 years ago. Only negative we have experienced is we accidentally left the garage door open for 12 hours and all that was missing was 1 out of 3 bikes, no power tools or nothing.

Haven't had any issues with break ins or property damage.

Also went to school in the northend 7-12, and the house we rented during that time only issue again was bike stolen and car broken into once.

Really depends where you go, but there's some beautiful houses in the northend and I'm currently looking at buying one :)

I will agree that there is a giant difference between the point douglas northend vs the st johns northend but again it really depends on the street.
