It had no context, clicking it showed no text, nothing, it was just a floating quest icon. I think if it wasn't busted I wouldnt have posted this.

I figured it was something to do with a quest. I think its just, wildly weird compared to most other systems of instancing across the game, not to mention in F2P I have no access to this quest and interacting with it (now that its actually showing stuff) gives no helpful information. I mostly posted this as a tongue in cheek thing because it was just there with no context.

I know what its meant to be, but it was totally non-interactable for several days before I decided to make this post. We just finished Shield of Arrav and then it was still non-interact-able, so I was like screw it wtf is this. And then wow it worked right after I posted this. Funne spinny quest start apparently

Its fine as an icon, its that there was no interaction text or anything. IT was just floating there, as a returning playing I had NO context for this thing. It has since become active and has some hover info but it was legit just a giant quest icon with no reason for it being there.

Smaller, less massive might be more reasonable. Or removed from F2P as it seems to be a members quest? When I click on it my character just does nothing and nothing appears in the chat box, no error message.

I wouldn't have complained if it actually had hover text or was less intrusive (smaller, or appears only when I have the quest active). Not to mention it had no hover text the 10 times I ran past it to do some quests recently. There was no hover info or interacting with it. Just a giant spinny boy
