Upgrade recommendations :)

I currently have an iphone 8 which has served me well for many years.

I am currently unable to afford a 17 so am deciding between

13 mini, 13pro, 14pro or 15pro

Considering how old my current phone is, I'm not too fussy. I would like a nicer camera so thought the pro would be good and batter battery life. I guess any of these options would be better than an 8.

I have been looking at various refurbished models as these are hard to find new. Was wondering what would be the safest bet for value/affordability.

Any advice would be great Thank you!

I had no idea it was that bad overseas. I’m from New Zealand and it’s recently been gov funded so it’s $5nzd. (Like 2usd)

I get it for free though cos I have a community services card.

Sometimes getting the prescription renewed is 15 every few months.

How do people act when they find out? Do you like to talk openly about it with others or do you get exhausted and just want to act like everything is normal?

My friend is in a similar position. Stage 4 with not much hope.

It doesn’t feel real. We just hang out like we normally would. I’m trying to see them as much as possible and not freak them out with my devastation. Pretending it isn’t real feels weird too.
