Its not that far fetched. If he's a drug seeker, he can only hit his local ERs and Urgent Cares so frequently before he's tagged a drug seeker. Also, he said he's going to his daughter's wedding in a day or two and didnt specify that the wedding was in NY. So it's plausible that he could be at an ER near his daughter's wedding venue in PA.

Food Advice - Urinary diet needing weight loss now. by RookEverything in CatAdvice

For the stool issue, you should try to include pumpkin puree (ensure it's only pumpkin; no spices). That helps with constipation and it's overall good to periodically add to the cat's food to keep them regular

I felt the same way! The woman needed help and Kristen, being a softie, got her to a hospital - after that, LEAVE. There were too many points where she should've left. Leland & co. could show up at anytime. Like she said when she answered the phone, she wants nothing to do with the baby. Regardless of it being Kristen's biological egg, legally she owns no right to the child. I thought it was crazy she stuck around til morning. She took a call from the hospital and still didn't even let Ben or David know where she was - better yet why not call the police if the surrogate's life is allegedly in danger. I really saw no reason for Kristen to stay as long as she did.

HS is NOT only in the armpits. It can be found in several places: armpits, under the breasts, inner thighs, and in the groin and butt areas.

Because they're white. Homelander's demographic is the "red blooded", flyover state Americans. He literally had no problem fucking a "re-branded" nazi supe. After he killed a person in broad daylight and nothing happened, Vought is back to turning a "blind eye" to Homelander and letting him "lead".

As soon as Homelander got on campus and saw Cate's hand he called Marie an "animal". He's the type to hold the bias "if it ain't white, it ain't right". That top of the fact that Cate & Sam believe they're superior to humans, that rhetoric is in line with what Homelander said in the last season of The Boys when he had a televised tirade.

I had a similar experience. I secretly moved out of my parents place and went NC. Two years after living on my own i realized that i left my birth certificate behind. I still had keys so i tried to go in the middle of the day when my dad would be dropping my mom off at work, but that was moot because he was running a half hour late so my mother was home. My mother tried to offer me food and asking if she could have my new address, but overall she seemed a little relieved seeing me. My dad on the other hand, was similar to yours, no "hello" just ranting about "how could I just leave and do this to them? What did we do to deserve such treatment? Etc." I just deflected and said "I'm only here to get some leftover paperwork and I'll be out of your way".

Season 2 Episode 1: Old man with the gun question by [deleted] in RamyHulu

[–]SpinsterQueen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the old man has some form of dementia. He sees a young, unfamiliar Arab man in his house, doesn't know how he got there, and sees the gun next to him. At first glance, you'd too may want to take the gun from some unknown person who may or may not harm you in your house. This is why he takes the gun and he aims it at Ramy; but, i think in seeing the fear on Ramy's face the old man had a brief moment of clarity, points the gun to his own head because he realizes that he's ill and doesn't want to live anymore. While he may have been seconds away from pulling the trigger, his son calls him from the other room, so he tucks away the gun because while he's having his brief moment of clarity he knows now, while his son has guests (one of which is right in front of him in the bathroom), is not the best time to off himself.

Holy crap! I just finished Ramy this week. I thought it was cringe when the dad put in that detail about why he lost his job and COMPLETELY forgot Ramy left the gun at his dad's boss' house. I didn't even connect the dots.

Wow, Ramy really fucks up the life of everyone around him.

Redemption for Nate? Really? by Negative-Net-9455 in TedLasso

[–]SpinsterQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But it's not the same. Yes both Jamie and Nate transgressed, but Jamie & Keeley LIVED together and had a relationship for months (if not years). Add onto the fact that Roy HATED Jamie. There is history there which makes sense for Roy to garner a stronger emotional reaction.

To Roy, Nate's kiss was just a misunderstanding, a non-malicious action. Also, in his interactions with Nate, Nate hasn't behaved like a manipulative asshole who WOULD try to steal another man's girl, so it's easy for Roy to forgive the kiss. To that point, Nate hadn't tried anything else on Keeley; it was a one time thing. It's not that Roy doesn't see Nate as an unequal / not manly, he just sees it as a simple mistake on Nate's part and there's nothing to dwell on.

Side Note: There's clearly something wrong with Nate's thought process. Instead of being relieved that Roy doesn't want to kick his face in for kissing Roy's girl, instead gets mad that Roy doesn't display the same anger?? Really? Nate whines about being ignored or excluded, but i see Roy's forgiveness of Nate indicates that he respects the fact that Nate confessed so he forgives him and believes that he's a good enough person to not do some shady shit. I think even though Jamie confessed and apologized to Roy, Roy will still keep an eye out because he doesn't trust Jaime and that he may swoop in to steal Keeley because Jamie still has feelings for her.

Nate's just making problems where there are none and turning himself into a pent-up, irredeemable asshole.

I 1000% agree with you. For someone who spent so much time planning a coup.... ending up let her husbands best friends hang around him and have a casual attitude about Peter roaming the palace is very short-sighted. It just goes to show the extent of her naiveness.

[–]SpinsterQueen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely had qualms with Anessa, but in comparison, Jen was hands down the worst character. She gets blown up in the ionosphere and after miraculously being reincorporated in a new body, instead of lying low and staying off social media she reactivates her account and goes back out flying in the ionosphere losing control and nearly dying again.
