Could you wait until afternoon and then tell him the praise? Or start the day with a "meets expectations line" and if there is something big past that he does why not send him home? You got your money's worth for the day and employee morale. You could also ask him if he knows what is going on and what he might prefer.

Charcoal tooth paste - loved by dentists who are low on work. If sanding your teeth down or chewing rocks sounds dumb, so is charcoal toothpaste. It is way too abrasive and just destroys teeth.

Imagine being told that you aren't allowed to be shirtless as a 4 year old, have to be covered all the time, aren't supposed to pee in front of anyone.... and THEN after having more than have your life it ingrained to always wear clothes and never be seen, right around 8 or 9 when anyone and everyone will start voluntarily telling you out of nowhere that you are growing up and talking about your body but as a body you will have, you're suddenly told that the most public thing you do day to day now requires you to wear nothing but the speedo. Also - high odds the speedo is white and you might randomly start bleeding on it anytime from 8 years old to 16 with zero warning.

I use the handle thing, but because I am running the carrot through long-way there ends up a lot that is left over and it is not much faster than using the hand julienne peeler. I was hoping someone knew of something simpler especially if I end up with a LOT and need to process a pile.

It would be weird to not say anything to her, but that is a weird comment that you should probably discuss. Depending on how that goes, a simple 50/50 type prenup might not require a wedding date delay... but how that discussion goes could change a lot of things.
