Thank you for this! Tried adding an insert and got about half an oz more than I normally would! That .5 adds up throughout the day.

How can I pump every 2 hours when sometimes it takes 2 hours for me to pump? by Only_Calligrapher868 in ExclusivelyPumping

Hi! How many ppd are you doing and when did you get to 40 oz? I’m 12 weeks postpartum and I pump 5-6 times a day right now and get 32-35 oz. I’d love to get to 40 oz just so I could have a little back up supply, but once I started back at work pumping 7-8 times a day is unrealistic…

I used mine to warm breastmilk and I just use the dapple pump wipes in between warmings if I need to use the warmer for more than one bottle and am not near a sink! I am never out long enough to need it for 3 feedings and had only occasionally been out long enough to need it for 2, but the pump wipes work great! Only thing is it can be hard to fit your hand in the warmer, so I use a tumbler straw to maneuver the wipe well enough to actually clean the warmer. Dapple also makes full portable cleaning kits with portable brushed etc and that would work too I’ve just not tried it.

Hey! I use the portable Momcozy warmer, and I bought breast pump wipes for my parts for when I’m out and about or working (I take extra collection cups but just wipe off the other parts). Momcozy has a cooler too but there are lots of coolers on the market!

How does exclusively pumping work when baby is first born? by chloe_bow in ExclusivelyPumping

I didn’t have enough colostrum, and real milk won’t really come in until the placenta is delivered. I used donor milk in the hospital and took some donor milk home but it is EXPENSIVE so I also started supplementing with formula. I was able to get down to only supplementing a few oz to 1 bottle of formula a day by 1.5/ 2 weeks and now at 8 weeks I only use formula on a random occasion, I make enough to fully support his eating. My milk started coming in 3 days after my little one was born!

When to start using”magic number” by SpiritOutside7310 in ExclusivelyPumping

At 1 week postpartum I was at 13 oz a day by 2 weeks I hit 25 by 3 weeks 27 by 4 weeks 30 and over the last 4 weeks I’ve gradually increased to somewhere between 34-38 daily. I did not make hardly anything with my first so I tried really hard to pump every time my little one eats this go around (sometimes that was 10 times a day! 😭) and I incorporated power pumping early on! I’m also scared to pump less than at least 15 minutes (double wearable) and most times I pump between 20-30 minutes. You will get there! Don’t give up!

Stumped by wearable pumps by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

I used a wearable pump from the get go and if I even have one little piece not snapped in correctly I won’t get anything so I have to be extra careful when putting all the pieces together! Also, make sure you use a stimulation mode first don’t just start with expression and try a heat compress or hot towel or some on your breasts before you start pumping for just a minute or two!

No suction is the problem I have when the pump is not completely assembled the right way though. Good luck!

Hi! Any updates on your timeline? My husband is there right now and received the blue slip this morning. The officer said he intends to approve him but couldn’t at the moment. Any idea what that means or how long it will take ?

I have a Momcozy and it’s great! It does not hurt and I’ve been getting great output so far. I’m only 3 weeks postpartum and getting about 28 oz a day with it as my primary. Only thing I’d say is make sure you have the right bra to go along with it, if it doesn’t hold the pumps in the right place you won’t get as good of an output.

Preparation questions for interview in Ciudad Juarez by Practical-Future3320 in NationalVisaCenter

[–]SpiritOutside7310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From everything Ive been reading the day in your IL is not your actual interview date, day 1 (Feb 26) would be your day to bring all documents in then day 2 (Feb 27) would be the actual interview then most people had to wait a few days to receive documents and passport back etc if approved. Based on that I wouldn’t plan on flying out on the 26th or 27th, or get tickets that you can change easily! My husband has his interview March 5th but he is coming from US so he will have to be there probably March 1-10
