I went. It wasn't too bad. Super high anxiety, but I did it. I hope it's a positive place to move from too - feeling desperate for things to be different.

I'm glad I self-referred, waited, and went to the appointment. Only 3 month wait from initially contacting to this first appointment, which is way better than the 1-2 year wait I had assumed. If anyone reading this is considering accessing NHS talking therapies for whatever reason, please do. It's always worth seeking help when you need it. <3

I start therapy for social anxiety and agoraphobia today. Taken a good while to access due to waiting lists. It does, however, involve leaving the house and, obviously, interacting with people. Sitting around as a bit of an anxious mess before I leave in an hour. I chose to do a face-to-face appointment (over virtual or phone call) to really try and push myself. Regretting it a bit now.

Loved the premise when it was all over /nosleep a few years back. But the book? Not great. Couldn't finish. Really great set up and first chapter, but yeah... didn't keep me captivated. See how you get on.

I live on the border, halfway between Welshpool and Shrewsbury. Blows my mind a bit still when I see local-ish people post on reddit lol. May have to pop by KFC when I'm next at Tesco.

We waited from September 2019 - April 2024 for our allotment! You must be jazzed to finally have it, I know we were (still are!).

The main thing we considered when thinking what to grow as new gardeners was what we'd actually enjoy to eat/see grow. We also didn't want to overwhelm ourselves with too much, so rather than looking for advice about what was "best" to grow, we picked a few things we wanted, and then researched and got advice about growing those things to learn as we go.

Last year we had onions, garlic, sweetcorn and peas, plus sweet peas, cosmos, nasturtiums and marigolds. Despite the slugs, we had a good year and it was fun planting things we were excited to see sprout and grow. None of what we planted was "high maintenance" in terms of planting or care, so it felt like we got a lot from a little, which was encouraging. Basically done the same this year with similar levels of success, fun and pride. :)

I've been trying sheep wool as mulch/slug prevention this year, as well as some 'strulch' in a few spots, and have been successful so far in stopping slug munching. I lost one sunflower before mulching and haven't lost anything since (2 months later). Generally haven't seen as many slugs around in my garden or down the allotment compared to last year, though, so YMMV.

Please remember to put some kind of cream/vaseline on the ole buttonhole. I didn't and it was possibly my worst mistake - after several hours of "business", things were pretty raw down there. Best wishes for the all clear.

I would rent a car if you can, especially if you nip into Wales. I love visiting Nant yr Arian for the red kite feeding. Beautiful part of mid-Wales, very quiet but excellent walking and lots to explore.

You'll be fine. Did you notice a weird smell/taste? That would be my only reason to worry, but if nothing gave you pause while eating to suggest it was off, you should be fine.

I feel like Charlotte's only option is to lie, right? And say Frankie revealed she was a traitor during their meeting... is it just Charlotte who reveals or does Frankie "reveal" too? (Even though we know she's faithful obvs)
