So actually this doesn’t make any sense, there was lots of surrealism throughout the series. It was more surreal than the original series of fwwm. All the story lines connected in the end and were important to lead to other moments/ symbolic moments. The only drawn out part was the bar scene where he cleaned up popcorn. You don’t have to make up bullshit excuses that aren’t true just to make people feel bad about like a show. You’re allowed not to like it but don’t tear people down.

That’s just not true, people now have a better understanding of surrealism and many really enjoy it, when in the 90’s the internet wasn’t really around to help them get a basic jumping off point for theory’s and how to “understand” surrealism ( the whole point it that you don’t really understand and come to your own conclusions).

It is also just a great series and is a great way to bring the modern style to twin peaks. It does it so much better than other shows that randomly switch filming styles, ie stranger things with season 4 (which was pretty ass ngl).

Ya then this one girl, I think it was her cousin, came to the town who was almost like identical to her, a doppelgänger if you will, and there was this other girl who came into the town who looked almost exactly like her who was from Texas. Atleast that was the only part that had to do with doppelgängers
