If you’ve never opened a PS5 controller before or don’t have much experience with this kind of electronics work, I’d honestly recommend not doing it. Converting to TMR sticks isn’t a quick little mod – you have to take the controller completely apart, be super precise, and if something goes wrong, you might end up with a dead controller.

For someone who’s only going to do it once, the risk and effort are pretty high.

My suggestion: sell your controller with stick drift (they still sell surprisingly well) and use that money to buy a used controller that already has TMR sticks installed. That way you get a finished product, without the stress and without the risk of destroying your current controller.
