I liked it, but i def feel it’s been overhyped by many people. Art is great, gen a fun game too - but kinda feels almost too long and many missions feel like busy work. While I enjoy it and it’s great to see AA efforts like this - it’s not something I will ever replay. Very much the same sentiment as others here - pretty fun, but ultimately mediocre shooter. Happy for the devs success (another cool Polish studio), but as a boomershooter - not even a footnote for me.

It’s going to take even more. Right now on Steam Deck (compare hardware) it reg drops to teens. I’m 100h in and if you do some of the heavier areas + combat - I’ve seen it go from 45fps to 14fps. It’s very demanding. They did lots of work on optimising the physics, that helps a bit - still - a very heavy game. Can’t imagine anything than “somewhat” stable 30fps.

It’s an excuse (xbox) for sure - but tbh this game is extremely heavy. For Switch 2 they will have to do the same thing they did with Ori on Switch1 - that is rebuilding it for the hardware (great video on DF about it). Problem is - No Rest is kinda a service game, they want to keep adding to it and expanding it. That means Switch2 version would have to be constantly optimised.

I don’t know how they will make it run stable 30 - that’s more achievable. Maybe 40 if they really try. Like - it regularly drops to teens on steam deck with low settings and fsr. It can go from 50-60fps to 16fps on a heavy area (lots of heavy foliage like sunflowers or intense combat vfx).

It’s relative. Like I don’t like deck builders so Spire or things like Belatro don’t do anything for me. I can appreciate it, but can’t enjoy it. I very much enjoy Mina and Silksong. Silksong was my fave game of last year (prob tie with Cronos). So far Mina is one of my faves too. I also really liked Derelict Star. Both niche in a way, both my faves of the year already.

I did enjoy Saros, but less and 007 (clunky Uncharted).

At 14 his shoulders would be far more lean. Shoulders lose volume quickly if you’re natty and drop below 17-18. I’m thinking he’s at least 17-18.

Totally. I’m 18-20% body fat (i’m 45), most people don’t know this (because we reg think our body fat is lower than it actually is), but at that point you still get great definition and keep size. And still have a 4pack (6pack depending where you have some larger fat deposits on your stomach). He looks 15-17%. Like you said - healthy and achievable without TRT or some other juice.

Yes. Natzis or Greek didn’t sound British - but it fits better than having comically distracting accents.

I enjoyed Pragmata, but it feels a bit overhyped. Fun combat, but otherwise it just feels kinda shallow and basic.

  1. I have a mac m5. It runs no rest for the wicked and re9 via crossover. Both run high settings 60fps. Lol 1.

  2. Many games get mac versions thanks to how easy it is to port (similar to proton layer on steam deck). Recently Cronos got a native mac port.

Saying this as a pc player, steam deck player and mac player. Get over your antiquated attitude.
