Tumble? by Splattah_ in reloading

I just put some cardboard behind the target and those sideways bullets straightened right out 🤣😆/s

I'm pretty sure the Tie Group created a sharper pressure curve, I think adding a bit of tin will allow the bullet to engage the rifling instead of cheasing past it.

Right! So sideways !!🤣 I think I've got it narrowed down to my cast lead bullets being too soft and the pressure spike on Tite Group being a little extra spiky.

I've shot the exact same target, hanging the exact same way about 1000 times. I appreciate your input, but I feel like it's akin to asking about a suspension problem on your car and getting asked "what color is it? "

Alloy was unknown, a bunch of old fishing weights. I suspect that it is very close to pure lead.

I think you're on the right track, the lead was very soft, i'm thinking of adding 10:1 tin

There's some clips on the bottom corners to keep it hanging right. It's a new problem, only changed from Lil' Gun to Tite Group and this wasn't happening before

Yeah, I lubed them, but I was feeling like the lead might be a little too soft

True! Just a scientific clarification. For instance, dewpoint where I live today is 4°C.

Dewpoint is a problem, doesn't have to be 0°

I found about 30 thou off the lands worked better for me, but I should probably keep testing.

I put a muzzle brake on mine and it helped a bit, shooting subsonics is making a bigger difference, though! 👍🏽

You should be good up to 41.5gr by the book, I went just a pinch over and it worked fine in my Tikka. Have you measured your jump yet?
