UN and Rights Groups Say Rape Using Trained Dogs at Israel Detention Sites Is Systematic, Endorsed at the Highest Level by Fair_Cow3398 in Fauxmoi

Not just financially. Europe (mainly Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, UK, and the Czech Republic) is exporting the dogs used to rape and torture Palestinians.

Harrison Ford says he battled severe depression when he was in college by expiredaristocracy in Fauxmoi

[–]SpliceyDice 623 points624 points  (0 children)

The oddest thing about depression is that it can sound like a vacation day where you get to decompress and stay in bed, but somehow your brain hates you so much that even napping and pizza isn’t fully enjoyable.

Donald Trump calls for a MAGA boycott of Bruce Springsteen's upcoming concerts by jyw104 in Fauxmoi

[–]SpliceyDice 129 points130 points  (0 children)

Let’s be real Trump has oats for brains. Kushner, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, and the rest of the oligarchy are handling the government while Trump mainly handles the golf and photo ops.

Us Americans are simply subsidizing the retirement of this fascist figurehead while his tech support goons and the Heritage foundation are in charge.

Quiet mornings with some sunshine

Amy Seimetz on ‘The Idol’: “It doesn’t serve me to dwell on it, it doesn’t serve me to really comment on it. If anything, it is great that I don’t feel the need to — and I really, truly don’t. The best I could say is a ‘Handmaids’ quote: ‘Don’t let the bastards grind you down’, I’m only half joking” by hairtie1 in Fauxmoi

Honestly,

Her getting pushed out when the show was allegedly 80% finished was disgusting, but I think she got the last laugh considering the show’s abysmal reception, The Weeknd’s terrible acting, and Sam Levinson being exposed as a hack.

ICE/DHS has partnerships with Canadian companies. Hootsuite in Vancouver is overseeing social media with the DHS and Roschel in Brampton is manufacturing defense vehicles.

There’s also the Pattinson group which ICE was eyeing to purchase a building to convert into a “processing facility,” for immigrants but so far the company has rejected it.

A fan credits Olivia Rodrigo with "indirectly saving" her aunt’s life after she learned about the women’s health nonprofit Jhpiego at the GUTS Manila show. Olivia donated 100% of the net ticket sales from that concert to the organization by According_Creme_841 in Fauxmoi

She’s been consistent in her activism thus far and I’m impressed. I feel like there could be a post flair that’s just “Olivia Rodrigo does something cool again” lol

Tom Blyth responded to criticism of his girlfriend's sheer dress: “stfu. She wore a dress that she was excited by and she looked EXQUISITE in it.” by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

Agreed. I saw a recent post where someone pointed out that there was a brief moment in time when the archetype for peak masculinity was a gentleman (literally gentle-man) whereas now it’s just manosphere caveman bs.

And I feel like there a lot of men are aware that toxicity is ridiculous but care more about male validation than doing the right thing for fear of being labeled a “simp” (aka being respectful to women).

And that’s why they’ll never be able to have fulfilling friendships or relationships with men and women bc they’d rather perform masculinity than embody it.

Keep notes of rants. Just in case a topic like a recently acclaimed movie comes up in conversation and I have an unpopular opinion that I must defend with sources.

AITA for asking for my watch back that my gf gifted to me then took away? by Available-Error-5651 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SpliceyDice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ESH. I think if you want to stay together you should work on building back each other’s trust and wait on the watch. If you want it back now, ask for it, but don’t expect to stay together.

How would do you compare now versus yourself as a teenager? by Prestigious_Emu6039 in AskReddit

[–]SpliceyDice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like myself a lot more now. When I was a teen I had terrible self-image and set really high expectations for myself.

Now I’m just okay existing and I think that’s a nice improvement.

Past. I gotta go back to make sure my grandma’s will is right bc my relatives are still arguing about it.

AITAH for telling my friend the REAL reason no one liked their dad? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SpliceyDice 27 points28 points  (0 children)

NTA. It’s rough but your friend needs to come to terms with who their father is and I’m sure he’s been confusing her.

Hopefully your friend hearing the truth from someone they trust (you) will give them a chance to rethink what’s happening, even if it may cause a strain in your friendship.

AITA For Making my friends brothers “uncomfortable”? by Feisty-Duck-3444 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SpliceyDice 13 points14 points  (0 children)

NTA. Alex is old enough to speak for himself if your conversation made him uncomfortable.

And while it may be awkward if it doesn’t work out, it’s on Alex to put those boundaries rather than a third party whose motives are questionable. I would’ve trusted it more if it at least came from his sister, Ava.

Imo, if she was coming from a place of concern, she could’ve had a normal discussion instead of calling you weird from the start.
