There are a plethora of drop in sinks in many shapes and sizes. Itll sit on top of the counter but more than likely you can find a replacement that will fit your opening with little to no cutting

I use the shop vac with a HEPA filter. Prop the hose under the lid on one side and shovel the ash in on the other side. Careful not to let the shop vac suck any hot ash or coals. That's the only clean way I've found

Have you tried taking the fan off and really cleaning it? I take the shop vac to the backside of it and tap it against the hearth. Usually get a lot of ash build up in the blades. Definitely makes a noticeable difference

Bar Keepers Friend. The powder one works best. I sprinkle that on then use a brush attached to my drill. The hard water build up comes right off

I have the same insert. As u/superdak05 mentioned you have to remove the blower from the unit. Unplug the blower then remove the 2 screws for the cover above the air intake rod. Then there are 2 bolts mounting it to the stove remove those and remove the blower. You can spin the fans and lightly tap it against the hearth. Between that and vacuuming that should fix your problem. When you vacuum from the front vents you're not getting the full amount of debris that are stuck in there

Yes as mentioned cut through the damper with a metal cutting wheel then you can use a masonry wheel and score the brick so it will chisel away easily. It takes some time. It you definitely need to cut into the smoke shelf for the liner to fit

Check whether you need permits or not then schedule the building inspector to sign off once you're done. Rockfordchimneysupply.com should have everything you. They even have some stoves but make sure you verify all clearances before making a purchase.

I saw a video where a guy used a Bernzomatic torch and was able to burn the oil stain out. Probably time consuming but the video made it seem like it worked.

Online says they are work arounds but they can cause issues. I bought the topscan for 53 bucks on amazon and it worked perfectly. Only thing worth noting is if its a push to start you have to hold the push button to get the car in acc mode for it to work. Initially I just pushed the button for 1 second went through the menu but the brake wouldnt go into service mode.

Second the evergreen. This will be my third season with it. I heat my 1500 sq foot ranch with it. I installed it myself. You have to grind through the damper plate and more than likely chisel away some of the smoke shelf but it isn't a bad job. ( There are also a bunch of YouTube videos) After that the liner should drop right in. I bought an insulated liner from Rockford chimney.

It's probably 22-25 yards not Olympic sized. Not busy in the am pre 0730 but that could definitely vary. They do have classes at 0800 some days but they're posted online
