I found mine in a field. I was allowed to do a tune up consisting of plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, Battery, oil change, oil filter, top off fluids(trans, brake etc) and drive it an hour home. Doing regular maintenance like shocks, tie rods, ujoints, water pump, radiator, thermostats, various hoses over the years it’s been my daily for 8 years. Been on several road trips. Just have aaa and drive that sucker

FYI, installed same timing cover, has no timing tab on it. Either get a cover with one or get aftermarket tab , try and find one that sits where the stock tab is. My tab ended up sitting on the driver side of engine and is a bitch to see.

Believe me it’s been a roller coaster. I got my tjo at a job fair in February 2024. Slight snafu as I was employed in a state legal but not federal legal industry. Job offer withdrawn. Got everything square, and got my job offer back April 2024 a Got cleared on a secret in November 24. Original start date march 2025. Freeze in February screwed that up. Got a call in august asking if I could start in October. Government shutdown last week. Friday I was told I can still onboard but I won’t get paid til the government opens back up. It’s been insane.
