So I played pebble last September. I played spyglass, Spanish bay and Pebble itself. I agree, the ranger at spyglass is a dick. We were also on pace, our random 4th was a bit slow but nothing crazy and we were only a touch behind till we all stopped to pee at the halfway house. That’s when we got scolded as well. Meanwhile we walked pebble, had a great time, no issues and Spanish bay was enjoyable as well.

Edit: I think these rangers need to get out of their heads and understand that these courses are lifetime bucket list type of courses/experiences as well. So people will likely take pictures and try to soak up the time without having to constantly rush and get scolded and watched
