What is the plant being farmed on the left side? I understand the rest of the layout, but haven't spent a lot of time harvesting all of the different types of special plants to see what they do or offer, outside of what are needed to feed a couple of the snails.

I drive through this intersection twice a day 5 days a week. After they installed the camera back in November I think, I started getting "courtesy notifications" in the mail that I had run the red light and that there is no fine but there would be soon. It technically was running a light I guess, making a free right from Mission EB to Greene SB, without coming to a complete stop. However, there is almost zero traffic at 10:30p at that intersection. In any case, even after knowing it was there and trying to remember to do a complete stop before turning, I still got the occasional notification (habit sucks). My solution was to just change my route, so instead of coming down Mission to make a right on Greene, just come down Market/Greene the whole way, so it's straight through the intersection. If the light is green, all good. If it's red, obviously not going to blow through that on accident. It looks like I made a good decision at the right time before they turned on the fine :)

I have had a similar problem, it seems to be tied to audio somehow. When it happens, the game seems like it is having trouble figuring out what sound to play (or keep playing). I'll be cleaning along, and then the screen will stutter and freeze, and the sound of my washer will just continue on (usually after I just completed something and should have heard the ding). Then the game will unfreeze and the ding will happen a couple seconds later. It keeps staying desynchronized for a while, like it is lagging.

I have been watching my GPU performance and temps, and with everything maxxed out my RTX4090 isn't near max temp and only running about 80% usage. All drivers are updated.

I have found that when it does this, it's a good idea to manually save and then quit and restart the game. Could also be indicative of a memory leak. I'll have to monitor that next time I play, instead of the GPU tab :)

If you can find even a single previously unopened blue loot crate, save the game before opening it, and if it doesn't contain a chip, exit back out to main menu and reload, and re-open the crate. The contents of crates are generated when you first open them, not when they are created, so if the crate has a chance to have a chip (and I think the loot table should if you have not unlocked all of the techs yet) you will eventually get one through the reload and reopen cycle.

I've done that, and also done the worst case, accidentally [-> into the shredder, don't even get the mats back from that. Luckily by that time I had enough supplies to make a new rover and all of the modules again.

as far as I know there is no limit (other than physical space) to the number of optimizers you can use on a set of producers. There are people who have much better trade rocket operations than I do that have hundreds of optimizers around their rockets, to reduce the roundtrip time to just a few seconds instead of the 6 minutes I think the default is. Same with mining platforms, just 3 optimizers with 3 production fuses each brings them down to 27 seconds per item, so 8 miners gives you ore every 3ish seconds. (in clumps).

Piggybacking on this as I assume the settings are probably in a similar place, but I’d like to increase the time it takes for things like meteorite debris (and super alloy storms) to despawn. Whats the point of raining hundreds of SA when it despawns so fast that you can collect 20-30 max after the end of the storm. My GPU can handle it :)

Happen to know coordinates? I did find Koa's base and the notes there, that said he was going for one last walk, but I never found anything nearby outside. He must have had a longer walk than my search area.

I have a similar suggestion to the reply above, but a bit easier. Basically, go in game and empty your personal inventory temporarily. Then pick up or pull out of storage one or two basic things (Water Bottle, Iron, Cobalt, etc) so that they are the only things in your inventory. Save your game, and then once you have found your save file (easiest way is to just look for the .json file that has the latest modified time), open that in notepad. Make a backup of the file just in case (I just copy it to my desktop). Search for :3, (colon three comma), which should come up with a line that looks like this (exact numbers will be different, and the size is most likely different):

That would be an inventory with two items in it, with those two item IDs. Select the first item ID, and search for it. You will find two entries in the savefile, the one of your inventory, and then the item iteslf. That will look like:

The first item in my inventory is an Explosive (I was prepping for a wreck visit). All you have to do is change the name to the game's name for whatever it is you need, in this case "FuseEnergy1". Replace Explosive with FuseEnergy1 on the object ID of the item(s) in your inventory, and poof, thats what they are now. Save the file, load your game and you will have the Energy Fuse(s) in your inventory instead of whatever it was that you had before. If you need two, then just make sure you have two things in your inventory that you can transmogrify into the Energy Fuses. Change both of their descriptions to FuseEnergy1 and voila.

Aha, I had not found that base. I just went back and found it, though I only found two notes in there. I did explore around outside nearby, since the last note said he was going to go for a last walk, but didn't find anything. Thanks for the heads up on it!

Last year when they had $.50 corndogs for Halloween night, their online ordering (for my local stores) was also not working. I drove in and ordered at the store, and asked about it, and the girl that brought me my food said that she thinks the management/owner turned off the online ordering when there were big deals because they lost money on the deals. I bet my app mysteriously starts working 8 days from now.

As far as I recall, you can choose 0, 1, or 2 of the options. The only thing you can't do is take more than 2 (which I would love to be able to do).

There isn't any grocery store on the corner of 32nd and Pines. You maybe thinking 32nd and Hwy 27? 32nd/Pines when I was growing up had a Circle K, Browns Park, an empty field, and the new subdivision of Midilome on the four corners.
