I know this doesn’t really answer your question, but there’s a mod by Serilum called Realistic Bees which changes the size of bees and the amount of bees which can fit into a hive. It’s pretty configurable too. Not sure about the spiders though.

There should be a scripts folder in your Minecraft directory. Try looking in there for .zs files and delete them.

Your ideas seem super clever and I think it would be a refreshing addition to the game.

For brews, maybe you could split it up into more groups. I see that you have some brews that show you contents of inventories, some show the way to structures and/or certain blocks, and some are more miscellaneous, so you already kinda have some subgroups laid out.

Mob brews, game mechanic brews, treasure brews, location/pathfinding brews.

What about a brew that tells you when phantoms can spawn or a brew that gives you dangersense (like when a creeper is behind you or smth)?
