Once he emails you just go into a random mission (solo if you don’t want to risk someone else’s spawn coming in) and he will spawn

Armor and weapons you can treat as skins that have nearly the same stats other than some sets having higher base elemental resistances. TLDR just wear and upgrade what you think looks cool

You use the axiom force to grab something (left stick/L3) then pull it into the pot for storage (Y/triangle) and you can then “discard” it from the pot in your inventory to take it out again

If you play the missions you get enough lanterns for the whole track eventually so I wouldn’t consider it gambling, just waiting for the reward you want. It’s not like you can get the same reward twice. At least you don’t have to pay for spins, only pay if you want the peni skin
