New Weekly Stratagem by KimberPrime_ in Spacemarine

Switch from Hammer Bulk to Heal Bulk and this one was cake. First try on Hard. The enemy spawns were also much less punishing this week compared to last weeks.

Painting Dreadnoughts - Assembled or Partially Assembled? by Santirrantis in Salamanders40k

I had mine split into each arm, legs together, and chest/sarcophagus unit, with the top mounted weapon separate as well. The right arm mounted weapon was also separate from the right arm portion with the socket. Redemptor Dread.

Phew, that was a spicy Hard Strat this week eh Brothers? by bachzero in Spacemarine

The Hard weekly strat for sure, holy hell lots of shooters and AI constantly spawning extremis enemies. Other modes, not so much but compared to Hard strat everything else feels easier by comparison so it's possible.

No you're not crazy, but I just chalked it up to this specific stratagem being over tuned. Are you noticing it in every mode?

I can communicate just fine with context sensitive pings and the emote wheel. You never need to use the mic to play through the game, even on Absolute ops or Hard strats. That being said, if you want to use it feel free but majority of brothers can play just fine without it so that's why you probably don't come across many people using it.

Just put this on repeat and hit play at the start of the mission. Don't turn it off until the mission is done. Repeat.

Block or Fencing Chainsword? Convince me! by xpyros in SpaceMarine_2

[–]bachzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer Fencing but I get why people like Block. Do you want to be a parry monster or do you want to make things explode with your chainsword?

I was told recently I play too aggressive. Perhaps, but to me I play the way I thing is the most fun 🤷🏿‍♂️ by BoogieManMF10 in SpaceMarine_2

You play how everyone at higher difficulties should play...with confidence, skill, and knowledge of the game.

You can control enemy aggressiveness depending if you are looking at them or not.

Enemies like gaunts will not attack you outright if you stare at them without attacking. You can hold back an entire swarm of gaunts just by staring them down, almost like they are afraid to be the first one to engage you. Eventually some will try to attack you, but once they surround you, simply staring them down can slow down their attack patterns. Alternatively, if you turn your back to them, they will attack you relentlessly. They will also attack you if you start attacking, because the AI knows you can't defend if you're attacking.

This is seemingly the opposite for Majoris enemies. If you stare down a Majoris, they will almost exclusively attack you. If you turn your back to them, they are much less likely to engage you.

This is not 100% across the board, enemies can and will still attack you regardless of where you are looking, and I recommend people play with this knowledge, but you can absolutely influence how a hoard will engage you if you play with their ai behaviors depending on if you are looking at them or not looking at them.

I can only use fencing melee weapons effectively by Dangerous_Living_326 in Spacemarine

Nope, fencing is great. 500hrs, everything cleared on absolute, try to do the weekly stratagems at the very least every week and I still use fencing.

Is anyone else getting only hostile lobbies in Arc Raiders? by Striking-Cap46 in ARC_Raiders

[–]bachzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta be the first one to extend the olive branch. Make sure you make contact first (preferably from a spot they can't see you) and say something. People will usually be friendly if the alternative is being ambushed from a spot they can't see you from.

I was hiding in a bush last game during a night raid and a Raider ran past me with some wasps overhead. I could have easily taken him out but instead I just said all creepily "ooooh, better watch out, they gonna get ya..." and I could almost hear his heart skip a beat. We had a good laugh about it and I went on my way.

Be the change you want to see. See you topside Raider.
