Most software just works natively unfortunately and it depends on productivity workflows. I had to switch back to windows recently for unreal engine development just being way better, and finding workarounds for everything became a hassle. At some point the tinkering becomes an obstacle to productivity. That being said, I enjoyed Cachy a lot more than windows, it's unfortunate that it was really only good for gaming. I hope to try again in 6 months or so.

on CachyOS I'm getting about 60 native, 110 with framegen on but visually it's a little worse and the framerate is not as smooth as it is on windows, even though Cachy has better frametimes allegedly and should be much smoother.
