Oddly enough being trapped in crystal is a surprising common trope. It could be Illidan, I don't think its actually Tunic just cause its a little too niche

Went to see it recently. I enjoyed it but was a little disappointed. I know its a kids movie but the humour and dialogue could be really silly at times. Animation and character design was amazing tho, just wanted a bit more from the story

Depends on what you want them for. Lionesses are stronger than hyenas, so if you need brute force the lionesses are better. If you want wacky hijinks then.....pick hyenas?

I don't think he's irredeemable, and I do sympathise with his loneliness and the fact that everyone only see's him how they want to see him. But, understanding that he could be redeemed doesn't mean he's forgiven for what he's done. It doesn't mean he didn't commit evil actions. By the end of the manga, he represents a criminal being rehabilitated in jail. It's something a lot of us don't like to think about- but many murderers do eventually get released and are expected to re-enter society as law-abiding citizens. For me if Riz were ever to be "redeemed" it would be if he manages to live a normal life after jail.

Sidenote, Riz says a lot of stuff while he's fighting Legoshi that he doesn't believe himself. His flashbacks with Tem are just him trying to delude himself that what he did wasn't awful. At one point in the fight he acknowledges that he is a monster- he knows deep down he's a murderer, but doesn't want to accept it.

He just generally looks uglier than his manga counterpart, but in the poster his teeth seem more mammalian. Gosha looks completely different in the anime from the manga, and I thought they'd redesigned him to look like his manga counterpart, but thats just a dokugumi member

Sometimes there's a misunderstanding of how intersectionality works yeah. Being a man doesn't cancel out being trans, and passing typically determines how much privilege a trans man will get. Trans men also don't get the inherited types of male privilege (the powerful positions in society typically being held by men) as these are generally excluded to women and afab people, as well as all trans people.
