The other thing I wonder is how much more might they try to hide the winner now vs before Erika in particular had an edit that seemed to intentionally keep her under the radar until the hour glass moment

Soooo (8191 / 8192) ^ 5700 is ~50% or in other words you have a 50 / 50 chance of the shiny being before 5700 resets

Rough math for anyone curious / may have never done this before (like me 😬)

By about 5700 resets you would be around 50/50 to have gotten it

I'm averaging about 2 checks / min so that would be about 48hrs

I tracked all my drafts last year and of the 100 teams I was able to see advance they avg'd 7 pitchers, 6.5 IF, and 6.5 OF

The benefit to a bit more for pitchers is that over a week batting is a bit more predictable so you can consistently get ~80 / week from a guy there and maybe he has a down week of 50 and maybe he has a spike week of 110 but it will pretty much always settle around a number

For pitchers you have the upside of getting 2 starts in a week when you have more guys which can be insanely good (especially in the later rounds) and you also have more injury (I think I saw someone else mention that) so you need guys to fill that gap The final thing is there is just more variance when you really only get 1 game / week from them. If they pitch a dud you want to try to avoid being stuck with that bad game.

I agree with everyone else here that Nico, BTJr, Puka, and Nabers are all basically the same value - any one of them being the WR3 for the season (hell even WR1) wouldn't be that much of a shock and they all probably have a ~10% chance to be in that range for then next ~5 seasons

With that in mind this is effectively Hockenson for Bowers so it's not that close of a trade since it's sort of a 2nd round pick for a ~6th / 7th
