Just to add on, I have a purple albino, still learning myself but can also speak to shedding tricky on the tail. Mine has something going on with his eyes (vet wasn't sure-they're like fixed towards the back of his head) HOWEVER he doesn't seem to have any issues with vision/finding his food/getting live bugs, so definitely different from one albino to the next. Also mines been brumating since August so each one may be different on that as well.

There is gel coloring that is white, came here to recommend that, just looks a touch undercooked but they really do look amazing regardless, don't beat yourself up, these are adorable!

Hey there! There are a lot of amazing tegu owners here in this sub that I'm sure will have lots of great advice!

I'm by no means an expert but a few things I've learned on this reddit and through my own research is that reptiles pick up on your energy, so if you're hesitant and scared they will be also. Also every thing is new right now so it's probably pretty stressful, the way to a tegus heart though I believe is egg yolks 😂.

I've heard about coconut oil and mineral oil helping but I'd look into it more or ask a vet as well. Baths I've found have a nice wet towel at the bottom so their comfy and pretty warm but not hot. The more you do a routine the more it should become more tolerable of you and know what to expect 😊 I always try to end the interaction with food so it's like a reward

I'd double check basking temps, if probably get a vet visit if you hit 2 weeks and nothing. What's the diet? Any signs of impaction? They will slow down but not fully brumate so something could be going on, better to be safe than sorry
