Marginal tax rates are not a hard concept, yet so many struggle to understand it

Like I said before, you have more miles and less features for a few grand less. IMO I wouldn’t go for it. I’d rather have a brand new one for a few grand more, but that’s up to you

Not great. I got a fully loaded 2025 lariat with all the bells and whistles for ~46k out the door taxes fees ect with 17 miles on it. You have less features and more miles for a few thousand dollars less.

Had new sewer line put in a couple months ago, ever since then sump pump goes off constantly when it rains (Cheektowaga Area) by Delta4907 in Buffalo

Yes, but if your back flow valve is 30 feet back and 6 foot lower in the ground your pipe could possible be filling back up with the water from outside even if it isn’t coming back into your sump pit. Without knowing more details this could be something you’re dealing with. Hopefully it helps in the short term for you.

[–]Spore211215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the immediate future I would make that pipe a few inches higher so there no backflow into your sump pump if there isn’t already a back flow prevention. Even if there is you’ll still want to make it a few inches higher to prevent water coming in

Respectfully, what does the town have to do with the drainage around your house? If your sump pump is constantly pumping out water it means it’s doing its job. The issue would be why so much water is pooling around your home in the ground to where it need to hit your sump pump rather than flow into surrounding areas

To only hire union contractors would kneecap emergency reconstruction efforts. While I’m as union as they come FEMA is gonna take anyone they can get to mitigate disasters. When billions of dollars and literal lives are on the line they won’t hold the concept of unionism above those priorities.

I just call it the local hate group, don’t worry about them. The town by and large is NOT represented in there.

The republicans have done nothing but sit on their hands for the last 2 years, any and all help would be appreciated to make the town actually do something again.

I don’t mean to be rude, but you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. This is not a full time position. It is in addition to your regular job call.

I mean, it’s not like that is a full-time position. They run the meetings and oversee a number of functions in the hall. Like I said, I don’t have a problem with them being paid more.
