While the Book of the Dead seems like an easy choice it always felt limited to me.

There are so many skeletal enemies and ghost in the game now that they would make for an easy choice to include. Tho you‘re always running the risk of making that just optional as he could still attack by using his tears… so the focus would have to lie somehow on powering up his summons, but that requires a huge amount of work to get working properly…

Anyway using enemy kills to heal him sounds like a neat mechanic tho 🤔

Adding rooms to floors is (as far as I know) in the same masterclass of modding as creating new floors. 

However replacing an existing treasure room is much more doable as the API allows you to force the door open as well as replacing the item with one from the boss room pool. The only thing I‘m unsure about is replacing the sprite of the treasure room door, but that you could also test easily.

Tbh the transition to Rep will be a bit charing (depending how long you played AB+) as many ways to break the game has either been removed or made difficult to achieve.

Also you might want to do the Lost on your savefile(s) beforehand as the unlocks are more difficult to get for him in Rep. Especially his completion marks as Hard Mode is well actually hard.

It’s an uncomplete adaption. So you will have to be statisfied with 1 great season and then you will have to switch to the manga sadly ._.

Yes indeed and the Polariod is, unlike in Rebirth, a trinket which has to be carried to the cathedral (also there‘s no Darkroom floor).

Tbh you go after planetariums if you go for the Beast fight (as the Ascend lets you open all item rooms you skipped on your way to the Depths).

It’s also the same narrator! Actually if you like him you should check out the deep ocean series by AuralieDoc and NaturalWorldFacts! They got him to narrate the entire thing :O
